Our eggs are produced by chickens who have been directly exposed to the protein FEL d 1, which is responsible for the histamine response to cats in humans. The eggs these chickens produce contain naturally occurring antibodies, called IGY immunoglobulin, which when ingested by cats prevents production of FEL d 1.
