Setting the Record Straight on Recent Misleading Information Online

In light of recent false claims about our products and website, we want to address these issues head-on. Here’s what you need to know about the misinformation circulating and why Catigy remains committed to transparency and quality.

At Catigy, we take pride in offering not only high-quality products but also excellent customer service. Unfortunately, we've come across some false information being shared online, and we believe it's important to clear up any confusion.

 

Claim 1: A Reddit user claimed a friend ordered from Catigy and received a damaged item, stating that they "reached out but have yet to receive a response."

 

This statement is completely false. Since Catigy's website launch, we have had only one instance where a customer reported receiving a damaged product. In this case, the customer contacted us directly via the Chatigy bot on our site to indicate their package had been damaged in transit.

Within an hour of receiving their message, our customer support team had responded via email and resolved the issue by issuing a free replacement. The customer expressed their gratitude and satisfaction with how quickly and professionally we handled the situation, and indicated that they were planning to include in their review of our product that our customer service exceeded their expectations.

We pride ourselves on providing prompt and effective customer service because we value our customers' experience above all else. We encourage anyone with questions or concerns to reach out to us directly at info@catigy.com, and we are always happy to assist in any way we can.

Additionally, we want to clarify that the Reddit user making this claim has a known history of promoting one of our competitors across multiple social platforms. To the best of our knowledge, there is no public indication that this individual is even a cat owner, which casts further doubt on the authenticity of their claims.

 

Claim 2: Catigy's website is a "direct copy" of our competitors' websites.

 

We have also seen accusations that Catigy's site is a copy of "other competitors'" sites. After thoroughly reviewing the content on our website, we found that one sentence on our "How It Works" page, while citing the same studies as our competitors, was similar to a sentence found on their site. In the interest of originality and integrity, we promptly updated that content.

However, the rest of our website remains entirely original:

All of the photos on our site were taken by the Catigy Team on our own property.

The information about our process, our property, and our products is entirely original content that cannot be found on our competitors' sites.

Catigy's site contains much more detailed information about our products, process, and the benefits of our approach, going beyond what is available on our competitors' sites. We provide comprehensive insights into our methods, the science behind our products, and the values that drive our business.

This doesn’t just apply to Catigy or our competitors, but to any business.

While it is federally illegal to impersonate a real customer and leave a fake review, this doesn’t always deter some companies, especially new ones. Young entrepreneurs may be unaware of the legal repercussions, but unfortunately, this does not stop them from engaging in such practices.
